CLICKS OF GOLD A Photography Contest
The “Clicks of Gold” - Photography Contest is open to all Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) of the Electric Cooperative (EC) or their family members residing within the franchise area of the EC represented. The Participant must be of legal age.
Entr/ies shall bear the thematic subject featuring the activities undertaken by the EC in the implementation of the Rural Electrification Program and/or the impact of rural electrification.
Photo entries should capture real-life services delivered by the men and women of the Rural Electrification Program and its impact on rural development. This may include, but not limited to, photos on the actual conduct of the operational activities of the ECs (construction of line/line rehabilitation, line clearing/clearing of vegetation, service dropping, meter-reading, etc.), front-liners who are ready to serve, or clients satisfied with the services provided them. The images should be able to depict non-choreographed or candid scenarios of the operations or the delivery of the services by the EC, and the benefit to its stakeholder MCOs.
The Photo contest entry shall have the following specifications: Digital format in JPEG or JPG format of at least 4000 pixels x 3000 pixels in full-colored photo (black-and-white and sepia are NOT allowed). This must be stored in a USB upon submission and enclosed in an envelope, signed and duly labeled as follows:

The following are NOT allowed:
1. Digital manipulations such as colorizing, toning, collage, photo composites, panoramas, and high dynamic range (HDR).
2. Photos that contain obscene, sexually-explicit, offensive or images that are objectionable or of inappropriate content.
3. Photos that violate a person’s rights including, but not limited to, copyright and privacy.
Winning entries may be published in print in “NEA Road to 50” documentations and will be displayed at event sites during the NEA 50th Anniversary Celebration.
GOLDEN STROKES A Painting Contest
The “Golden Strokes” – Painting Contest is open to all Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) of the Electric Cooperative (EC) or their family members residing within the franchise area of the EC represented. The Participant must be of legal age.
Entry/ies shall bear the thematic subject on the Heroes of Rural Electrification to honour and appreciate the efforts of the electric cooperative Line workers - the “Warriors of Light”: they, who literally put their lives on the line so that they can bring light to the communities in the countryside; they who chose to take on the huge responsibility of ensuring that our services are delivered to where and when they are needed. They are undeniably the beacons of the light we provide to our countrymen.
The artwork entry shall have the following specifications:
1. Medium to be used is limited to either Oil on Canvass or Acrylic on Canvass
2. Size of 2 x 3 feet landscape
3. In a gallery wrap.
Criteria for Judging are as follows: Originality and Craftmanship (50%), Uniqueness and Creativity (30%), Relevance to Theme/Depiction of thematic subject (20%)
