POWER RATES – MARCH 2026
ZAMECO I would like to inform the public of the approved power rates for the March 2026 billing period, compared to February 2026.
RESIDENTIAL:
₱7.6918 / kWh → ₱7.2657 / kWh
(Decrease of ₱0.4261 / kWh)
LOW VOLTAGE:
₱6.8149 / kWh → ₱6.3761 / kWh
(Decrease of ₱0.4388 / kWh)
HIGH VOLTAGE:
₱5.1518 / kWh → ₱4.4886 / kWh
(Decrease of ₱0.6632 / kWh)
The overall decrease in power rates is mainly attributed to lower generation costs and other pass-through charges for the March 2026 billing period.
Despite some increases in certain components such as transmission charges, the net effect resulted in a reduction in overall electricity rates.
Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) are encouraged to continue practicing energy-saving measures, especially during the summer season when electricity demand typically increases.
